Lutz Klaus as founder has more than 30 years experience in Marketing and Sales roles working for Start-Ups as well as large Corporations. He worked in the IT and Telecommunications industry from 1996 until 2016 across the channel partner and vendor side. Lutz has led teams at Avaya, Nortel and Juniper Networks in Germany, Europe and Asia as well as globally.
In addition to his broad knowledge in international Marketing and Go-To-Market he started in 2006 to look into ROI and how the value of Marketing can be made transparent in support of business results. He introduced Performance Marketing and ROI as KPI in various companies, built up lead management systematically with sales and generated incremental revenue through Online- and Offline-Marketing Programs. Next to the strategic positioning Lutz knows the pitfalls in deployment in both direct and indirect Go-To-Market environments. At Avaya he managed the EMEA Channel Program for more than 2,000 partners including certification, incentives, MDF, demand generation and channel development.
Lutz is a certified Data Strategy Designer and official partner of Datentreiber, a public speaker at events and guest lecturer at the DHBW Corporate University in Mannheim and SRH Hochschule in Berlin. He has published a book on “Data-Driven Marketing and the Success Factor People” describing why your staff is key for success in the digital age and which core competencies are needed to succeed.
